The Status of Women Office works to achieve social, economic and political equality for women.

Who We Are

We are the provincial government agency which provides leadership to government on policy direction affecting the status of women in Saskatchewan. The Status of Women Office:

  • provides leadership and influences policy to advance women's equality
  • monitors and reports on equality gaps between women and men
  • advises and consults on pay equity and gender-based analysis
  • develops and produces research material
  • works closely with diverse women's groups
  • facilitates work by women to advance community-based priorities, and
  • represents Saskatchewan on the federal/provincial/territorial Status of Women Forum.
